From the bōsōzoku series published by Daisan Shokan around 1980, this was put together by the group Full Throttle, who were behind many of the most iconic boso books.
Includes photographs by Seiji Kurata, Kazutoshi Sumitomo, and Yuji Moriya, moving between straight documentation and more posed group shots, with a focus on the bikes, the style, and the presence of the riders themselves. At the back there’s a section introducing different bōsōzoku groups by region, giving a loose sense of how the scene was spread across Japan at the time.
Condition: Very good. Some shelf-wear and sunning. Several chips to the often missing protective acetate jacket.
